It's about Dr. Henri Roca and his path to becoming a holistic physician... something that is still not all that common, at least here in the US.<br /><br />Here's a brief quote from the article:<br /><br /><br /><blockquote><span style="color:#ff9966;"><strong><em>“I believe the future of medicine will be the evolution of one medicine which honors the diversity of all traditions,” integrating the best of Eastern and Western medicines, as well as other practices, he said.<br /><br />Traditional Western medicine focuses primarily on symptoms with an emphasis on medications, Roca said. Holistic medicine is a “living medicine” which looks for the root causes of symptoms and addresses the entire person — body, mind, spirit and emotions.
